Ladies and gentlemen, my brother amuses me.

In WarCraft, which we both play too much of, you can battle other people in arenas and earn "arena points" which depend on your team's rating each week. The arena points are awarded every Tuesday morning, around 5am, and go towards buying arena armor and weapons. There are two sets of armor and weapons, just a bit different in their stat. The first set is called "Gladiator" gear and the second is "Merciless Gladiator" gear.

My brother and I happen to be on an arena team together with a couple other people, and we're pretty damn awesome at the 3 vs. 3 games, with me healing, my brother doing damage and another damage-dealer.

So he just called me before going to bed and we chatted for a bit and then, as he's about to go, he says "OH! I almost forgot! I'll have enough points to get my Merciless Gladiator's Helm tomorrow!"

"Oh!" I remarked, "I think I can get my Merciless Gladiator's Gloves tomorrow!"

"SWEET, we can go be merciless together!!!!" he exclaimed. "Night!"

I love the schmuck. :)

Damn priests and shammies. GRR. And if you silence the pally during, say, the 2-2.5 seconds it takes to cast holy light (which they are probably trying hard not to cast but have to anyways), and they're locked out of the holy school of magic, they can't even bubble. Pretty much EVERY SPELL I have is holy. Bastard mages and their counterspell, or even felhounds with a non-auto-cast spelllock. :P

How cute!! I really almost miss my EQ days, just for the randomness of conversations such as this one. Granted, this is far cuter than most conversations I've ever had about EQ.

It's hilarious, 'cause my brother and I talk almost exclusively about that game or bitching about our mom.

There's something sociological about the entire shared virtual experiences vis-a-vis real life discussions, but I'm too lazy to figure that out.

But it IS fun, that's for sure. I love random conversations.

I never did play EQ, because the monthly fee kind of made me go "uh, no, I'm not paying X amount a month to play with a bunch of people who probably don't know how to play anyways" (yeah, I know, I apparently got over that) and 'cause it was nicknamed EverCrack (and WarCraft is now WarCrack...).

I was smarter in my youth, clearly. ;)

Ha ha ha!! I was actually able to avoid EverCrack for quite a few years. I remember some gamer geek friends playing it and how cool they thought it was (back when it was tedious and boring). Yeah, funny how those things change as years go on. "Pay to play a game?? After you have to BUY the GAME?? Are you kidding me??" :-P

I still think in mmorpg speak in my head... which sometimes comes out in the form of me saying outloud "bee are bee" or "bio break." Like real life people know what the hell that is!! Ha ha ha!!
