In other news, I have to leave in 20 minutes to go downtown, meet Thomas, go back to his place with him and then fix his computer, before going back downtown and going to class. Whee.

A moral dilemma, complete with poll for you all.
The situation (and no, this is not me):
You have filed for an incomplete grade for a class. The teacher, a very nice woman, said you could do so. You sat the final exam and feel you did pretty well on it, you just have to do two short essays and hand them in by a certain date. The day before that date, you have not yet finished the essays, and you receive a letter in the mail from the school, informing you that your incomplete request has been denied, because the teacher did not submit your grade with "INC" attached to it. It informs you that if you believe your grade to be incorrect, to speak with your teacher.
If you get an A+, an A or an A-, your GPA is either helped or remains the same. A B+ or lower will drag down your GPA, which is sitting pretty at 3.7.
The question is...

Just curious to see where everyone is on the importance of one's GPA compared to what people think is right.
