Another update. Shocking, I know.
May. 3rd, 2006 05:35 amI feel very antisocial, lately. I attribute this to the fact that I have time to myself for the first time in ages. I hope none of you take my absence of late personally. :)
I slept horribly on Tuesday, because I basically dozed from 9am to 11:30am and then dozed from 12:30 until 4:30. They conducted test of the fire alarms in the building, and also came by to check our batteries in our smoke alarms.
Why I am awake at 5:30am, I do not know. Stupid circadian rhythms. :P
A replacement blue iPod mini (second generation) was delivered unto me this afternoon, further disrupting my sleep. But it's my iPod. I'll forgive it. Essentially, some months ago (January?), it stopped working properly. The sound was all scratchy and then just started to cut out. Happened with any headphones, and the iPod earbuds worked fine elsewhere. So I sent in a ticket and they told me I had to pay $40 for shipping. "Screw that," said I, "I don't have $40 to deal with this right now." I eventually dealt with it a month and a half ago, but didn't schedule a pickup in time, and they sent my $40 box BACK to Apple. Finally, I scheduled a new delivery and they sent the box last week and I sent it off on Friday.
Monday, I got notification that they were sending me a replacement.
It got here Tuesday afternoon.
After searching for about an HOUR, I found my USB cord for my iPod and I am finally charging it. Yay!
In other news, once again, I loathe Carolina. The Habs suck, Bob Gainey has lost his mind, Jose Theodore made fifty saves to win the series for Colorado, and I now want Colorado to win the Stanley Cup.
I think I'm going to play in Photoshop for a while.
