Holy crap.

It is -22 Celsius outside.

Which, you know, is fine. It's winter.

But with the windchill, it feels like -36 Celsius.

Do you know how cold that is?? Here, in Fahrenheit, that's -33 degrees.

And I have to go to schooooooooooool.

Pardon me as I cry. And try to find my long underwear.

I have to admit, I don't think I've ever experienced temperatures in my entire life below, say, 15°F. I can't actually imagine what -33°F feels like.

I wore long underwear under my jeans, thick socks, boots, a t-shirt, a fleece sweater, a double-layered ski jacket, a scarf, gloves and a hat. I was still cold, especially my legs. Also, my eyelashes froze together.

Ah, February. :P

Man, it was -10 or so here this morning, and I had to walk a mile to get to my bus. I guess yours is pretty bad too, though.

Gah to walking a mile. I missed my bus this morning, so I walked the kilometer to the metro station. Frozen eyelashes. If only I had less shame so I could wear my ski goggles while not on a skihill.
