I love hockey. I love the new rules. I don't care that there's been like, 3 seconds of 5 on 5 hockey and the game is 10 minutes old. I love it.
That said, I was sitting here, enjoying the game, and suddenly thought, "Crap. I have to go to work for seven hours tomorrow."
And then I was like... "No! I don't! I don't work there anymore! AHAHAHAHA!"
I am happy.
And the Habs are winning. :D :D :D

Date: 2005-09-25 01:55 am (UTC)The problem is that there are a MILLION penalty calls per game, now, as players struggle to adjust to the new reality of an obstruction-free NHL. People say it upsets the flow of the game, and it does, but teams are starting to adjust and the game is flowing better when it's being played. :) Hopefully, the officials will continue to call the penalties by November -- usually they give up in mid-October.
