Actually, no. Ron first showed jealousy at the Yule Ball in GoF, Hermoine also showed some "Why aren't you making a move you idjit" moves in GoF. Ron then again showed jealousy in OotP when he couldn't get out of Hermoine the information about her visit to see Krum during the Summer.
