Did Harry's sudden realisation that his teenage years needed to be more angst-filled not seen a bit sudden either? Think of it this way, where has he had enough time to take a second glance at Ginny before now with all his saving the world antics? Just a thought...

P.s. Hermy/Ron = also rather sudden in your definition...

Yep, it did, and his sudden not being so angry in this book seemed sudden also.

Think of it this way, where has he had enough time to take a second glance at Ginny before now with all his saving the world antics? Just a thought...

Actually, no. Ron first showed jealousy at the Yule Ball in GoF, Hermoine also showed some "Why aren't you making a move you idjit" moves in GoF. Ron then again showed jealousy in OotP when he couldn't get out of Hermoine the information about her visit to see Krum during the Summer.

During all that time we saw of them during the summer... all of, what, two chapters?! I think Harry had more important things to concern himself with, plus... I was about to reveal something there that may have been a spoiler for Brin so I shall not continue, but I have a very valid point here.

Dude it went from subtle to IN YOUR FACE in a matter of pages is the point I'm getting at... now it is EVERY TIME they see each other not once every few books
