Some photos.

I've been playing with images from my trip to England and Scotland this summer.
If you go here, you'll see all the pics I've been messing with. I started with the photo of the sisters and thought there were a few more pics that would look better in B&W than in colour. (Incidentally, I took the photo of the sisters with a specific image in mind, and it's the one I ended up with. :D)
And I'm going to bed now. Up at 1, out the door by 2.

Date: 2005-01-04 10:11 pm (UTC)Dunkeld is a small town in Perthshire, Scotland. We drove through it on our way from Edinburgh to ... Ballater, I think, or else from Ballater to Aberdeen. The first Liberal Prime Minister grew up in Dunkeld and my father discovered that on his first trip there. Anyways, what you see in that photo is some of the remains of Dunkeld Cathedral, which was, I think, burned down. There's also an attached part of the church which is actually in use and either new/rebuilt or was untouched by the fire.
Anyways, it's a beautiful, tiny town. And I had tea there, about five minutes away from this place. :)
Glad you enjoyed the photos!
