My dad made me bend forward and back, side to side, twist around a couple of times and inhale and exhale deeply.

His diagnosis?

"You pulled a muscle. It'll hurt for a couple of days. You'll be fine."

He's a sweetie, my Pop is.

We had a nice dinner, the three of us, and laughed a lot, which hurt my back, but I feel looser on the whole now, less tense. There really is something to be said for being able to go back to your parents' for a little bit now and then. :)

(Note to self: remember this, the next time you have a family dinner.)

Oh! And my dad hasn't smoked since sometime in January!! Yay for him!!!! (Yes. A doctor. Who smokes. I know. The logic there is just astounding.)

And I haven't had a soda since January 8th.

Go us, for we rock like rockin' things.

(Yes, I'm procrastinating because I don't really want to do my paper. Shush.)

People are also stupid. My mother is totally inconsiderate about smoking in front of my dad, too. He actually left the dining room for the kitchen when she lit up after dinner.

And I smell like smoke. And dog.

I should shower, but I think I'm just trying to avoid my paper at this point.
