I'm going to bed soon, but I thought I'd take a minute to update you all on my love life.

No, I still don't have one. ;) )

Bed now, Italian studying in the morning.

Andrò al mio letto, adesso. Buona notte.

(PS: I can't wait to see what Irina Derevko looks like when she's being silly.)
(ETA: HAHA! That's a GREAT mood icon!)

Amusing!

Pursuant to my last entry about JB, I've discovered that my friend Thomas (the Irish man with the unfortunate speech impediment) actually may have a class with her. He described her to me (he only knows her first name) and it sounds almost exactly like her.

The issue? He doesn't like her. And Thomas is a very good judge of people. He agrees she's very nice and smart and funny, but feels she's a hypocrite, because she's apparently a big feminist, and yet uses her feminine charms on people all the time.

Well, I can attest to the feminine charms bit, although I've never talked to her about feminism or anything.

Anyways, it was an interesting conversation he and I had, and I'm going to see if she's actually the same person. Hm, hm, hm. Interesting to get someone else's two cents -- assuming it's the same person.

'kay, off to my Italian test. (Meep. Prayers and vibes are welcome.) And then I need a new pair of jeans.

I am sick to death of not being able to breathe properly. I just took my inhaler an hour ago, and I'm coughing again. (Not to an excess or anything, but blah.)

On the other hand, I think I did really well on my Italian test! I know I made four errors (i suoi instead of le sue, le dite instead of le dita and ve ci and ve ci instead of vi ci and vi ci), but I think I could come out of it with an 80% or so. I'd be thrilled with a 70, though. (It's on 20, so it's hard to make any mistakes and get a great mark.)

Then, a guy from class and I walked over towards Peel together. He went to Chapters, I went to the bank and then I went to the Gap and got a pair of jeans. Once again, the jeans that I LIVE IN were wearing thin and threatening to rip if I washed them even one more time, so I got the same type of jeans I've been getting siiiiiince 2002ish. Last time, I dropped a full size, but this time, I stayed steady. Still, not bad. And I think with more time at the gym (as soon as my traitorous lungs start working again), I'll drop a couple of sizes by the next time I need new jeans. We're averaging about 16 months between pairs, I think.

I'm going to play The Sims 2, now. Back to work on my legacy family. :) Generation 8 is born. Time to get them grown up and through college!
