Friday Five.
Feb. 6th, 2004 01:48 amAnd now, the Friday Five.
These are hard, because I am not a risky person to start with.
1. What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
Skiing down the hardest slope at my regular skihill, white water rafting, or jumping into an ice-cold pool when the temp outside was -15C, after being in a sauna of +50C. Or kissing my last girlfriend for the first time. Depends on what you mean by daring, I guess.
2. What one thing would you like to try that your mother/friend/significant other would never approve of?
Hah, see, normally, I'm the "mother/friend/significant other" that would never approve of various things. Maybe go travelling on my own for a bit, which would panic my entire family. I've never really done that. This would, however, require a driver's license. And a car. Or an accomplice with those things. Hm. Oh, wait. And money. Okay, we'll put that plan on hold for a year or so.
3. On a scale of 1-10, what's your risk factor? (1=never take risks, 10=it's a lifestyle)
3. Maybe. If I'm feeling particularly good that day. But it used to be 1, so I'm getting there.
4. What's the best thing that's ever happened to you as a result of being bold/risky?
A few things: Got a girlfriend, got back in touch with a couple of friends, got kissed, had a great time... All sorts of good things, but the bad things tend to stand out more.
5. ... and what's the worst?
Broke my collarbone, got hit by a car (though one could argue I was being stupid, not risky), gotten my heart broken.
