If there is at least one person in your life who you consider a close friend, and who you would not have met without being part of an online fandom, post this sentence in your journal.

I cannot begin to count the number of friends I've made through the various online fandoms. I still talk regularly with at least four people from my original online mailing list, and a few more from that specific fandom (TNG). There's at least two people I got close to because of DS9, whom I still speak with regularly. I'm still making new fandom friends, including at least one fairly close friend from an All My Children board I frequent.

It's kind of strange, to have so many friends and close relationships with people I've encountered all thanks to various TV shows. Is it any wonder, then, that I appreciate television? :)
