Like, whoa.

So I got my high school's alumni-type newsletter on like, Friday.
I flipped through it tonight, and saw the photo of the grads of the Class of 2004.
I frowned at some of the names.
I went to my graduating yearbook. Yep. That confirmed it.
The girls who graduated this past June were the girls who were in grade 1 when I was in grade 11. There is NO ONE LEFT at that school who was there when I was there!
Well, no students. And less teachers, too. Found out that one of my Physical Science teachers (Mr. D.) has retired, as has my Grade 11 French teacher (El Senor! ... he also taught Spanish. Just not to me.). The art teacher who loathed me is on leave for a year.
Things keep changing.
A classmate of mine spent eight months up in the Arctic as a police officer. Another just got her MSc and is now working at Oxford, I think, doing lab work. Another is ... doing something else important.
And me. What am I doing? I'm watching playoff baseball games and cleaning my apartment on a Saturday night. I'm in my second semester of my frickin' BA. Granted, I'm doing well. Based on what I've done so far, I've got something like a 3.6 GPA for this semester (up from the 3.47 GPA last semester). To get on the Dean's List, I need a GPA of 3.75 over the course of the year. That... would be nice. But still, it pales in comparison to the things my classmates have done.
I SO don't want to go to this reunion thing in a couple of weeks. :P
I need to clean. Feh.
