So... I finished my Christmas shopping today. I am getting Old because I fell asleep for an hour and a half shortly after getting home from the stores. I am turning into my little old French-Canadian grandmother, and this disturbs me greatly.
Tonight: wrapping, putting up my Christmas lights (and trying not to fall down and kill myself while doing so) and eating some of my aforementioned grandmother's home-made doughtnuts. I'm pretty sure I rave about them EVERY SINGLE YEAR, but dude, they are THAT GOOD.
I'm also pretty sure I had something of substance to post, but in a continuing effort to make myself think I really AM getting Old, I do believe I forgot what the hell it was the instant I opened Semagic.
It could have been commentary on the season, on politics, on the shuttle landing, on anything, really. But we'll never know, now, because it's GONE, never to return.
Why yes, the prospect of turning 30 in under six months does, in fact, terrify me, why do you ask?
Anyways, there was freezing rain on Friday night, regular rain tonight... there's no snow on the ground, and that makes me sad. It's set to snow on TUESDAY, apparently, but not for Christmas itself. What the hell kind of Montreal Christmas is it without SNOW??
I shall stop complaining now, because obviously, as soon as it snows, I will commence bitching about it.
That is all.
