Dude, what a day.

I woke up, unhappily, at 10:15.

I elected to go back to bed after a 20 minute debate with myself.

I set my alarm for 1:15 and dozed contentedly until this time.

I was up for 15 minutes when the power went out.

Seriously. No joke. The power was still out... IT'S BACK!!!!

<blows out all her candles and comes back>

Okay, so yeah, the power was still out at 2 when I left for Italian (what a major effort that was... but I made it! I went and I learned the subjunctive imperfect and the subjunctive... trapassato, whatever the hell that is in English. I've now reached the point in Italian where I am no longer able to translate from French to Italian to see if it makes sense, because my French subjective SUCKS.

Anyways.

Got back home around 4:30, power was still out. And it just came back on. Whee!

This means I will be able to study by an actual light, not a candle, later on. I had a vision of myself trying to figure out stats stuff while wrapped in two blankets (since the heat was off, too) by candlelight.

For now, I'm going to relax and watch some TV or something. God bless laptops and batteries and the fact that phone lines don't use power lines, since I was all dialed up to write/post this. :)

But God bless high speed and actual electricity even more. ;)
