Oddness and more oddness.
Dec. 21st, 2005 03:34 pmFor the last ten minutes, I've been treated to a middle-aged woman berating her elderly father regarding something to do with a car, the alcohol store and a religious man. I'm not kidding.
I called public security because she was screaming her head off for like, 10 minutes. This was at like, 2:45. There are TWO public security vans still out there. Crazy stuff.
Good news: Got my Italian grade back and, although it's a B-, I'm satisfied. It means I did about as well on the exam as I'd thought, and it means that with my A from English, it averages out to having gotten a B+ in both classes.
More good news: The taxi company has my purse. I can't go get it yet because they're not sure it's actually IN the office exactly, but they have it!
Bad news: I have to go to the library to take out a book for my paper due Friday.
Weird news: I have to mail JB her jeans. It's a very long story, and I totally volunteered and was, in no way, pressured to do so. So it's just a weird happening.
I can't believe public security is still standing around out there. ... wait, no, the woman is yelling again. I believe it.
Must go pick up/mail the jeans and head to school.
What a weird day.
