Sunday, Sunday.
Jun. 5th, 2005 01:10 pmWoke up at 11. Forced myself out of bed. Stumbled to the living room. Checked mail and LJ.
11:30am, forced myself to make macaroni salad (well, penne rigate salad) so I can have something to eat at work tonight, using the leftover pasta from last night.
Noon, forced myself to make pancakes to eat immediately, despite not being very hungry.
12:45, got dressed.
In a few minutes, I'll pack my bag and go wait for the bus to take me to work.
I can't believe I have to work for seven hours. Eesh. 2-9, baby. Oh, and that's irritating. The next bus after 9pm on Sundays is at 9:25. Blah, I hate transferring.
I am grumpy. Not so grumpy about work, exactly, but grumpy that I have to go to work and then come back and do more research methods. It's coming along, though, it's coming along. I should be able to be done with it before I go off to work tomorrow, around 4. Keep your fingers crossed, though.
<does math> Without deductions for taxes, etc, though, on Friday, I should be paid for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and today in the amount of $214.63, which is a lot more than I'll usually be getting. Normally, I'll be getting $133.88 gross for a week, so about $268 every two weeks, or about $535 a month. Not too bad, considering I get to sit, I get breaks, and it's not like it's really difficult work.
Since I'm working part time, they shouldn't make too many deductions from my pay, either.
Wow. The concept of actual, true, real disposable income. Blows my mind.
Uh, I got rambly. As usual. But at least I now feel somewhat YAY! about the monetary compensation of working.
I think I'll print out a couple of articles that I need to read over for RM stuff and see if I can't get a bit done during my breaks...
