Good birthday.

Saw Sahara (and laughed. A lot.) with P, went last-minute Mother's Day shopping with her, had dinner with my mom, my grandmothers and my brother (Dad is off on business, but he called anyways) and had some truly wonderful homemade chocolate cake.

Oh, and ( got this. )

All in all, an odd birthday. For some reason, I've really been at peace all day, which I blame on a strange dream I had last night. Maybe blame isn't a good word, but it was definitely responsible for my feeling calm, at ease and just all-around good about the upcoming year. This is totally the anti-normal birthday, because normally I panic about getting older and I get sad and weepy and nostalgic.

And yet, not this year.

Well. That seems like a damn good start. :)
