My thoughts on driving.
Sep. 5th, 2004 02:19 amSo I drove today. 'bout 100km (60mi) up north. Through traffic and construction and little country roads. Stressful.
Why is driving so stressful? I'll tell you why. Quebec drivers SUCK.
But I need to try to get used to driving around these idiots.
People cutting others off, with no signals. People tailgating you even when you're going ten clicks over the speed limit. People in Quebec have no idea how to drive. Bastards!
And in other news, Canada killed Russia tonight! We're 3-0 in the round robin portion of the World Cup of Hockey and will face either Russia (not likely) or Slovakia on Wednesday. Once we kick their asses, we play the winner of USA/Russia (or, very unlikely) USA/Slovakia. If it's Russia, no problem. If it's the USA, I shall rejoice, for we shall kick American ass. And I will be amused and satisfied.
Then my guess is either Finland or Sweden. Frankly, I'd like it to be Finland so that Saku gets second place in this thingy, but it would be very sweet to take down the Swedes.
I should like to say that I hate Martin Brodeur. But he plays well for Canada, so that makes me happy.
I'm babbling. I'm also hungry. I wonder what there is to eat up here.
