Dan Brown makes me laugh.
May. 30th, 2004 04:14 pmYesterday:
Went to airport. Got Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. Went to Toronto. Etc.
(The Etc. contains many things, good and bad, that I am skipping over. I am trying to block out the nastiness that was being stuck in planes and cars with both my parents and my brother. It was really not good, particularly when my mother and brother would SNIPE at each other constantly. So. None of that talk, but also none of the good, except my friend who got married was gorgeous and hysterically funny all at once.)
Came home. Been reading.
And the Dan Brown quote that makes me laugh, which I quote here because it's funny in any context:
"Stand on the altar of the Sistine Chapel and lie to the College of Cardinals?"
It cracked me up and has allowed me to truly laugh and smile for the first time in HOURS.
(I love not living with my family.)
And happy happy happy birthday to
literaryradical. 22 years today, she arrived in this world and made me a mother, and... no, wait. That's the fake family history. Regardless, happy birthday, Kiddo! <sniuggles>
