I'm reading The Da Vinci Code, and I am utterly enthralled, captivated and awed by it.
I've read 135 pages of it and I've only read for maybe an hour and a half so far. (I took time to watch Sex and the City -- and dude, Bradley Cooper [Will on Alias] was in one of the eps I saw! How freaky to see him with long, shaggy hair. Longer and shaggier than Will's hair!)
Wow, wow. I have no idea why I waited so long to read this.
Although, reading it at night is freaking me the hell out, because I don't do scary/mysterious things at night. I can't. I get nightmares. The only way I'll watch a scary movie is in broad daylight, the only way I'll read a mystery is during the day. Unless it's SO UTTERLY COMPELLING, I can't put the damn thing down. Like now. Wow.
ETA: AUGH!
I just read two more pages and I have to put the damn thing down, 'cause it's FREAKING ME OUT EVEN MORE.
<whimper> Mommy.
