So I'm typing up my Social Problems notes, as part of how I'm going to study for this midterm on Tuesday. I've got a bunch of songs in WinAmp (six hours worth) and I'm reloading a couple torrent pages in my search for The L Word 1x06, which I will watch when it's done downloading -- provided I've gone over all my notes in their entirety, plus three chapters in the book. I'll do Chapters 4-7 tomorrow, then start on Quebec Society stuff, then review everything for Social Problems on Tuesday afternoon. Then I'll take my exam on Tuesday evening, be done by 9:30-10pm at the latest, I figure (50 question multiple choice). This means I can be home before 11:15!! And I'll be able to go to bed and then get to Wednesday's Social Deviance without being BRAINDEAD.
Wednesday, since I won't have to nap, will be Social Deviance Day, followed by Quebec Society Night. Thursday will be Quebec Society Day followed by Social Deviance Night, since my Social Deviance exam is the one at 8:45am. Again, it's multiple choice, but it's a lot of finicky information.
I'm gonna be fine with the sociology classes, but Quebec Society is scaring me. There's a lot of history I need to understand and a LOT of facts I need to keep in mine. Not only that, but I need to come up with my OWN version of the Quebec Model, because the Parti Quebecois' version is a piece of horse manure, and that IS a question that will be on the midterm. Yeah, this one is all essay questions, baby. (Sob.)
Anyways, I'm procrastinating. On with the note-typing. (See, I started the term out with a notebook and then about three weeks in, I was like, fuck it, I'm bringing in my laptop. As a result, three others in my Social Problems with laptops in the classroom now. Wheee, lookit me, I'm a trendsetter! Hahaha.)
Right. Really going to type more up on Structural Functionalism, now.
