OMG ALIAS OMG

Part II.
You need backstory on my evening, briefly. Long story short, JB and I only watched the first hour at her place. I eventually came home and started watching hour 2.
An hour that STARTS OFF WITH IRINA.
SO MUCH LOVE.
You also need to know that I had 3, maybe four hours of sleep last night/this morning, because I think I may have missed out on some bits in here.
The whole first hour was interesting, but at the same time SO MANY CONSPIRACIES AND SECRETS OMG HEAD EXPLODED. I need to watch these again later when I've, you know, slept. As an example, it wasn't until Tom got the address flashing on his screen that I ACTUALLY UNDERSTOOD what the boy was planning on doing. Also, he lied to Rachel. Bad boy. Who are all these people you're talking about?
Caught Lena Olin and Greg Grunberg in the credits, so that rocked me right on. Loved Weiss' scenes. Just CALL. Awesomeness.
Jack is a serious badass and I was hoping it would be Devlin, but no. But GO HIM, I love Jack, he is the smartest grandpappy there ever was. We need new names for the SpyFam. SpyGramps, SpyGrams.. SpyMom (as opposed to SpyMommy) and SpyKid?
Haha, I wonder if anyone's talked to THE BRISTOW lately.
Okay, on to the second hour, because I'm so tired. Irina.... is so bad. And I love when she's bad. And she was so manipulative and I wanted to beat her for it but then she STAYED AND HELPED SYD GIVE BIRTH. So much love. She regrets failing at being a mom. I think part of why she "chose" to fail at that is 'cause she was scared she couldn't do it, and so didn't try.
But ha, ha, look, you just did the mom-thing, Irina. :D
Truth takes time, BTW? Awesome.
So, uh, Vaughn. I don't know how he's alive or who hid him away. I like to think it was Irina, because I don't think she would actually order the death of the man her daughter loves -- or if she did, would let it happen. That said, she has her own agenda. But then who sent the message to Vaughn? Is that was Syd asked her dad to do? Maybe, but I totally buy Sydney's grief over losing him. When did SHE find out he's alive, if she did?
A lot of things don't make sense to me in my very tired brain.
And you know what? I suspect I'd still have a lot of questions if I'd had a lot of sleep. This is old-school-fucking-with-your-head-'till-you-can't-see-straight Alias. And this is how I love it.
OMG, THE ITALIAN FAMILY. AHAHAHAHA. I love, adore, am DELIGHTED when SpyFam gets together and goes undercover. LOVE IT. Loved it in India (?) and loved it in Vancouver (haha -- it's a 3 hour flight, we go to a bank! Oh, Syd, if only you knew...). I just love the spyfam together. I really do. So much. The initial meeting, Jack arriving at Syd's, could not have loved it more. "You look....... well."
And the dude at the bank... "She has two such lovely role models!" Cut to Sydney being sneaky. LOVE IT.
ALSO, hang on a second. Did Rachel break a 512 bit encryption BY HAND?!
WTF IS THE HORIZON?
... that's about all I can say. I'm exhausted and have no brain anymore. Alias love has made it all go bye-bye.
So much love.

So confused.
