1) Olvia Spencer/Natalia Rivera, "Guiding Light"
2) Bianca Montgomery/Maggie Stone, "All My Children"
3) Jean-Luc Picard/Beverly Crusher, "Star Trek: The Next Generation"
4) Jack Bristow/Irina Derevko, "Alias"
5) Sydney Bristow/Michael Vaughn, "Alias"
6) Ted Mosby/Robin Scherbatsky, "How I Met Your Mother"
7) Willow Rosenberg/Tara Maclay, "Buffy The Vampire Slayer"
8) Jin & Sun Kwon, "Lost"
9) Leonard/Penny, "The Big Bang Theory"
10) Bette Porter/Tina Kenard, "The L Word"
Wow, and there are a lot more I could have used. Julian/Jadzia on DS9, Janeway/Seven from Voyager, Kira/Odo from DS9, Xena/Gabrielle from Xena... But those are probably the 10 that I will ALWAYS want together, no matter what. Well, I'm even flexible on #9, but the others... yeah. Not gonna deviate from any of that.
Interestingly, there are only four same-sex couples on the list, but they're all canon. The other six are also all canon. Hm. Is my imagination starting to fritz out? ;)
Anyone notice any fun trends? Snarky remarks about how my top two are soap opera couples will be met with an incredibly long diatribe about the importance of same-sex visibility in daytime television, so not a word out of you, people. ;)
