Spending money, whee!
Aug. 4th, 2008 06:39 pmSo I cashed a paycheque today and went to Future Shop.
Note to self: going to Future Shop when you're feeling rich is dangerous.
I needed a new headset, because my current one died tragically in a horrible mayonnaise-related accident. (I was eating dinner while voice-chatting with my guildmates and forgot to put the microphone up and this massive GLOB of mayonnaise oozed out of my sandwich all over my face, shirt and microphone.) So I picked up a new one. And then remembered that my iPod headphones had died horribly in a whole other manner (not food-related), so I should get a new pair of those... and then I saw the external hard drives were on sale... and then I saw that How I Met Your Mother Season 1 on DVD was only $24. And that The Golden Girls, Season 6, was only $22.
$300.19 later, I'm a happy camper. I haven't spoiled myself like this in ages, so I only feel marginally guilty, and I have another paycheque on the way, so even that marginal guilt will vanish soon. :D
