Huh.

I am slowly coming to the conclusion that not everything I write is a piece of shit. I may actually, possibly have some kind of talent with the written word.

Nifty.

(This post brought to you by fatigue and working a lot on an English portfolio of FIFTEEN PAGES [OMG, 15 pages of my OWN STUFF, ack!] and fear of showing 15 pages to anyone, ever.)

Bed now. More portfolio tomorrow. But I actually feel slighty encouraged by a couple of surprisingly uncrappy pieces!

ETA: Also, I find it really funny that the heads of all four major political parties in Canada, my MP (Member of Parliament) and a handful of teachers all know I'm gay, while both my grandmothers do not. I say this because, in my portfolio, I'm including a poem that I wrote about a moment I had with a woman at one point. It's a bad poem, but it's not hideous and doesn't make me want to claw my eyes out when I read it, so it's getting put in there. And therefore, my prof will know I am gayer than the day is long.

My ability to write creatively has actually decreased over the last two years.

I have finished my portfolio. It's 13 pages and fully half of it is stuff I originally wrote in 2003. And it was GOOD. 2004 was still okay, but 2005 is sucking.

WTF? Hopefully 2006 will be better, although that's not going to help my grade any.

Must print, clean up my place, because JB is coming over tonight, and then go hand this puppy in.
