All's quiet.
Mar. 10th, 2005 12:54 amHaven't posted at all since Monday, which seems forever ago. I'm sure y'all don't mind too much, since when I tend to post, I tend to post a lot. ;)
(... HOLY CRAP, I'm d/ling West Wing at 200kb/s on BT. Not that I'm complaining, BUT HOT DAMN, that's some good speed! <pause> Which I just scared off, it's dropping to 160 now. But it was so fast! So cool! Shutting up.)
Spent some time with M and her little boy today, before Italian. He's so adorable -- he's almost, almost crawling, and gets SO excited by various things. He cracks up spontaneously. He TUGS ON HAIR. A lot. Firmly. Good grip. Powerful lungs. Great leg strength. He's going to be a great hockey player. ;)
Usually, at the start of Italian class, the teacher goes 'round the class and asks us how we are and sometimes to expound on that, all in Italian. I was hoping he would today, 'cause I would have said "Sto bene, perche ho visto un'amica e il suo bambino, oggi, e tutti va bene quando ho uno bambino nella braccia!" (Which is "I'm good, because I saw my friend and her son today, and all is fine when you have a baby in your arms!" Alas, we weren't asked how we were today, so that went unsaid until I said it to my mom when I got home.
Poetry tomorrow. I got my paper back on Tuesday (despite the class being cancelled due to a water main break), and I got a B. It's not amazing, but I'm really happy with it, since I didn't know if my interpretation was any good or anything. Still, she wrote that I had some good observations, interesting points and wrote "yes!" in the sidelines at one point. I'm learning to succeed in school, and it's kind of neat.
I'm planning on hitting the gym before class. Or maybe after class. It just feels like 30 minutes on the bike would be good for me.
My download's almost done, which is awesome. So, off to watch WW and then go to bed.
