Random thoughts.
Jan. 3rd, 2005 02:49 pmI totally forgot to buy a bus pass for January. I didn't return Garden State yesterday due to freezing rain. I need to go to the bank. All before I go to school.
So, my plan for the day:
- get off my couch and get dressed
- walk to the video store, drop off Garden State
- cross the street to the bank, deposit a cheque and withdraw money
- walk over to the metro station, give the slimy bastards their $62 and receive my pass
- check the time and make a decision about taking the metro or the bus
- go to class
- have something for dinner
- go to class
- go home
- watch Las Vegas (
shiningmoon, Duran Duran is performing! 9pm, NBC! And a contest I think you'll be interested in...)
Oh, and the keystone of the plan:
- do not fall on the very icy sidewalk.

I am loving All My Children all over again, as many of you know. Not just for the Bianca/Maggie stuff, either. Erica's in top form, Kendall and Greenlee are burying the hatchet, Bianca has Miranda back, Maggie finally has a front-burner storyline, Anita's ditched Bobby for Aiden and is so going to be involved in the Bianca/Maggie storyline, we haven't seen Babe/Jamie in a couple days which is good, because those two are sickeningly sweet together... I'm all happy.
PLUS, new Lost and, more importantly, new Alias on Wednesday! I'm so glad I don't have class on Wednesday nights (that was planned out that way, BTW) and I don't start 'till 2:45 on Thursdays.

It's amazing how two letters and a math symbol can boost my mood. I was miserable last night and after getting my grades, I'm psyched.
Off to live life. Back later. :)

Funniest line of the day:
moireach: BUT I WANT TO CARRY COWS.
It's funnier out of context, so I'm leaving out the bit I said that led to
moireach's declaration.
So there.

Italian! Italian was great! I'm so terrified! :D It's going to be a very challenging course, but it should be good, on the whole.
---
Social Theory: We got out early. That's about the best thing I can say about it, except that this one guy, John, was saying: "I fucking hate him!" about Kant, but he can't avoid him, it seems, and I'm like "Dude, yeah, I know, I had to spend at least an hour over break explaining Kant to a friend of mine to explain why something is unethical." This earned a laugh.
---
When did I stop talking about fun things and begin regurgitating my life and talking about school?
