My mom called me yesterday to tell me she and my dad were driving up to Ottawa today (I say "up" not because Ottawa is further north than Montreal, but because it's up the St-Lawrence River) and asked if I wanted to see if my friend P was free for lunch, because then I could go with them.

Stupidly, I agreed.

Why is this stupid? Because I'm tired, but I'm awake, and I'm going to go.

Did I mention they'll be here to pick me up in a half hour?

Must get the ball rolling.

What a day.

I'm so ready to just flop on to my couch and watch All My Children (and doubtlessly fall asleep while watching), it's not even funny.

Woke up at 6.

Left home at 7:15.

Got to Ottawa by 10 (there was a LOT of traffic due to construction).

Anyways, got home without incident, and now that I'm here, and have written this, I will go lay down on the couch, call P to see if she quit, take another couple Tylenols and then watch AMC and probably fall asleep while doing so. And I'm looking very much forward to that.
