Montreal is tiny.
Jul. 13th, 2004 12:57 amI went downtown today to sit in Chapters and read the rest of The Time Traveler's Wife.
In doing so, on the way there, I walked RIGHT PAST this guy I used to date, for like, a week. Yes,
drsnicket and
llnaughty, NB.
I walked through the metro turnstile into the metro, and he walked past me to leave it. I blinked, took a couple steps, STOPPED DEAD IN MY TRACKS and looked behind me. No question, it was NB. Creepy, considering my mom asked me what he was up to last night at dinner. I haven't seen the guy in ten years.
Sat in Chapters, afterwards, and read the 60 pages I had left. Fantastic book. Audrey Niffenegger. Read. Now. Go.
Then I randomly ran into CB (not the crazy one), with whom I'd taken my Graphics Applications certificate course.
Three million people in Montreal and surrounding areas, and I run into two people I haven't seen in months/years within two hours of each other.
Weeeird. :)
