Amusing moment for you all. I expected P to give me a call, so when the phone rang a long-distance ring, this is what happened:
Me, in a deep, sleepy voice: "Yohhhh."
Visa guy: "Uh. Hi. Is [my real name] there, please?"
Me: "Oh, sorry! I was expecting someone else. Yes, this is she."
Silly Visa people, calling me.
Anyways, P DIDN'T bail on me (I'm somewhat shocked) and we're going skiing! She's coming to town and then I'm going to drive us up north. WooHOO. :D ... ooh, I wonder if my license has arrived in the mail, yet? :D
It's way too early for me to be all bouncy, I know. It's freaking me out, too. But it's SKIING, and it's the last three weeks or so of the season, and I've JUST gotten my rhythm back. Oh, it feels good. Plus, since it's Friday, there is NO ONE on the slopes today. It's gonna be awesome. The sun is shining, and, okay, it feels like -17, but it's gonna be a great ski day.
Oh, and some good news -- I slept almost seven straight hours before my alarm woke me up. I didn't wake up once. Considering how CRAPPILY I've been sleeping latey, this is good.
In Hattrick news, I had three players go up today!
The only bad thing so far about today have been my dreams. Strange, strange dreams about making out with a certain woman, which I quite enjoyed at the time, but, on waking, am less than impressed with my subconscious for.
Okay, enough LJ/babble. Time to shower, have a bite to eat, pack up my ski gear and play Sims 2 University 'till P calls me.
(Oddly, I feel like singing that song "Mountain Town" from the South Park movie. You know, the one that goes "the sun is shining and the grass is green, under the three feet of snow, I mean"? I'm so lame.)
