Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, folks. :)

I'm at the parents' house. I'm in the office, connected to the wireless router by, yes, an ethernet wire. Oh, the joy that is an unknown network key.

Paper stuff to be done tonight. Had a GREAT dinner, though, including my grandmother's doughnuts. Mmmm.

Will post more tomorrow, but the plan is this:

- play a game with my brother for a bit
- paper writing until dawn
- open presents with family
- finish paper writing if needed
- sleep until Christmas dinner

Whee.

There is caffeine in the house. I am prepared.

Just to say...

This is not the first Christmas where I've been up until an insane hour. I do that a lot.

This is the first Christmas where I'm up until an insane hour doing something I don't want to do, and doing it for a decent grade.

That said, a day's break from all this crap was actually really helpful. I've written a whole other page while talking about non-verbal cues between teammates IRL versus the necessary verbal cues between teammates online.

And hee, only an hour and a half until it's officially "not too early to wake up for CHRISTMAS!"

I may make tea.

Randomly, BNL is like, the perfect background music for me, because I can tune out while doing stuff and not worry about missing anything and then tune back in and be able to pick up on the fact another song is playing later on.

Yeah. Definitely gonna make tea.

Huh.

I just realized something. I am enjoying this particular segment of my paper.

And it's now Christmas morning since my brother and mother are up.
