So, about this hockey game tomorrow night.

Since the Habs won last night, it means Game 6 gets played. And it's being played in Montreal on Saturday night.

My friend J called the friend of the family who gave him the tickets we got to use on Tuesday night, to thank him again for the opportunity to go, and thanked him again on my behalf, as I'd met him at the game and shook his hand and passionately thanked him for arranging it so we could come to the game -- that it was a great experience, no matter what happened.

So the man says to J: "Your friend was so polite and I could tell she was a real Habs fan, which is so nice to see. Tell you what. I'll make some calls and I'll see if I can work something out for you two on Saturday night."

Granted, he then said "The chances of someone giving up their tickets for Game 6 are pretty slim, but I'll call around for you anyways."

What a weird week I'm having. I got to go to Game 4, which we lost in double overtime. I had an exam, which I think I did okay on, but then discovered upon returning home that my great-aunt's passed away. That same night, the Habs win Game 5, against all odds. And now I have the possibility, however slim it may be, that I may go to Game 6 tomorrow night.

It's been a really up and down kind of a week -- thrills of victory, agonies of defeat, and I have no IDEA what's going to happen next.

... except that I'm hungry and I'm out of milk, so I'm off to the dep in a minute.
