brinshannaraMy baby brother got his heart smashed yesterday by his girlfriend of six years. She broke up with him.
I understand that she probably had her reasons, that it wasn't right for her anymore, etc. I've given advice to my female friends to "dump his ass" before.
But this is my baby brother. I liked K. A lot. But she fucked with my brother's heart and, therefore, she is now the enemy.
My brother sobbed on the phone to me yesterday. Sobbed. He was absolutely inconsolable.
So, if you could please tack on my brother to the list of "people to think good thoughts for", along with my Nana, that would be great.

Date: 2007-10-03 06:30 pm (UTC)Well, that last line of advice is actually from one of my all-time favorite movies in the whole world. Well, it's a version of it, and I wish I were that brilliant that I could coin that phrase as my own. I guess we all have our moments, when we forget that bit about life... and it's oh so true.
I think it's what has made this last break-up easier.
I hope your brother gets through it, without being self-defeating.
