I remember when I wasn't a drug addict.

I remember the days when I'd wake up and not be congested, not need to take any medication unless I was sick, didn't know that caffeine was addictive (and, more to the point, wasn't addicted to it), and my lungs mostly worked.

Now? I have a bunch of holes in my right forearm that look remarkably like track marks (I have photos. I'll show you.) and I just took my first dose of Rhinocort, in powder form, by sniffing it out of an inhaler. Up my nose. I feel like a coke/heroin addict.

It amuses me that I am the most straightlaced person I know and yet... track marks! Sniffing powder! It's funny.

(ETA: and my mood icon is from the same scene as my personal icon. Hee. That's cute.)
