brinshannara: (so not a girlygirl)
... and how it affects my life, personally.

Apparently, it gets me a marriage proposal.

A friend of mine and I were sitting in the library and I asked her if she'd heard that it was now legal, and she's like "what? No! Tell!". I tell her the details that I remember and she's like, "Wow! <pause> You can get married to a WOMAN now! That's awesome! <pause> Hey, you wanna go get married?" By this point, she was laughing, but hey. It's been a while since I've been proposed to. In jest or not, that was pretty nice. ;)

In other news, I'm PMSing badly and am grumpy. Since I've already had chocolate and am STILL grumpy, it's time for bed for me.

I have a combination lock that I last used back in January.

I had since forgotten the combination.

The lock has been sitting on my desk for the last week, in the hopes that I would get so annoyed with being unable to open it, that I would spontaneously remember the three digits of the combination.

I remembered the following:

- All three were even numbers
- The first two were only two digits off each other, with the first being lower than the second
- The last one was in the 30s (so, 30, 32, 34, 36 or 38)

That's still a hell of a lot of combinations.

So, finally, I googled "lost combination" and "master lock" (since the brand is Master), and came across this site. Trouble was, I only had a vague idea of what the last digit was.

After ten minutes of trying various combinations, to my shock, the lock opened.

I have now saved the combination to a file on my computer called "combinationlock.txt". Just in case. :)

Today... I plan to watch the two hour All My Children/One Life to Live crossover special event thingy and then possibly go to the library for a while before my 8:30 class. Or, I may just be a slug. We'll see.

brinshannara: (simpler times)
Am at the library. Spent over two hours here, most of which were unproductive.

Tried very hard not to giggle at various conversational topics. Failed, some.

I desperately do not want to go to class tonight. It only starts in over two hours. I'm thinking I'm going to run to the parents' house for a quick dinner and then maybe be driven to class by, well, someone in my family.

In order to do this, I must catch the bus.

The bus is in 14 minutes. Hm.

I'm outta here.
