brinshannara: (what i write)
Went to bed just past 11, set my alarm for 1:45. Woke up. Have actually gotten a fair amount of stuff done.

For one, I KNOW WHAT THE QUEBEC MODEL IS. Hallelujah.

Second of all, I can now argue against the Quebec Model, which is KEY, as this is definitely on the exam tomorrow.

Just need to brush up on my Quiet Revolution accomplishments and some of my political party history, and I'm golden for the Quebec Society exam. Well, maybe not golden. But bronzey, possibly silvery.

Then I need to study more Social Deviance and get these theories into my head. I'm not panicked about this one, though.

Four hours 'till I have to leave the house. I think I can do this.

Oh, man.

The things I have to learn.

"Biocriminology has been established as a legitimate area. Lansett (1943) published extensive research where they try to prove that hypoglycimia (lack of sugar) can cause people to act irrationally, although the same thing can happen with too much sugar. Famous case: 1980, Mayor Mascon of San Francisco, first gay mayor in USA. Was killed by Dan White, a disgruntled police officer, who had been fired. Killed the mayor and another city councilman. Was only given a life sentence (served five years), because it was proven that he was hyperglycimic after having eaten a lot of twinkies and drunk a lot of Coke the night before."

"Caffeine is supposed to be something that can trigger criminality. Criminals seem to consume more coffee/caffeine than the average population, and it's a "criminal behaviour"."

Aaaaaaand that's why I don't drink Coke anymore, although it's good to know I could practically get off scot-free after killing someone if I was hyped up on Coke. ;)
